Thanks! I’m really glad that Sky Dragons worked for you. So many people liked it that it was actually #25 on the New York Times extended bestseller list.
Right now, Stephanie, the whole family is still recovering from the loss of Mum and trying to get the Estate sorted out which is not quite as easy as one would hope.
There was always going to be a time when I would take a break from writing on Pern — if only to keep from getting stale.
I do have more ideas for the Third Pass and I do have more ideas even for stories set in different Passes. We’ll have to see how things work out.

Ditto! I started reading about pern in middle school, more than 15 years ago, and I have read the series several times since then. I never pass up a chance to recommend them, either. I love where you are headed with this branch! I am sad to think there may never be another pern book, as I know it has to be painful to dream in a world your mother so lovingly created. It breaks my heart to think pern has died with her. I know the heartbreak of one fan is a minute issue to you, but I sincerely hope you consider continuing your writing, and maybe even finish the “after the fall” idea. (wishful thinking)
