Eons ago, I wrote your mother to say how wonderful reading her books is to me. Now, it is your turn. I truly enjoyed reading Dragon’s Kin, as I had suspected I would from your Dragon Holder. Both books have the ‘voice’ I associate with your mother, but with a touch of something new. Learning that Pern now has two ‘tellers unfolding the tale has made me happy. I hope to see many more books with the cast of Kin, or new characters in new times and settings. May your ink never run out!

Thank you very much! Mum and I have been talking about what happens to Kindan, Nuella, Zenor and the others as they grow up. Maybe we’ll get around to writing about them, too!

And, of course, Kindan features prominently in the Dragonsblood which I’m in the process of revising.
