Hey, just read the idea about writing the Nathi Wars. I’m assuming that would involve showing the heroics of the Pern Colonists that we already know? If so, YES! Please, please write this! If you want a collaborator for it, I’m fond of Stirling’s Military-SF (though that does not mean you need one).

I’m glad you like the idea of writing about the Nathi Wars. We’ll have to see what the publishers say. I think, though, that they’ll take a brand-new on Pern book any day over some military s-f, even if it is tied in with Pern. Still, I do think about it. As for military s-f, with a four year stint in the US Army, a long-standing interest in military history and a number of mil-sf stories already publsihed, I don’t feel the need for a collaborator.
