What I’m reading now

What I’m reading now

I’m currently reading “The World Crisis” by Winston Churchill. It’s his epic on the First World War. I’ve been looking for it for a long time — it’s been on my buy immediately list and when I discovered that Easton Press had it, I bought it.

Temeraire (“Her Majesty’s Dragon”)

When I was at Aggiecon I asked some of the booksellers what was hot or interesting for them and one pointed me at a UK hardback, “Temeraire” by Naomi Novik.

When I noticed that it was blurbed by Terry Brooks and Stephen King I was impressed but the clincher was the blurb by one Anne McCaffrey.

It’s quite a nice book and I’m going out to pick up the sequel, “Throne of Jade.”
