So I decided to visit my Fantasy roots and revist Pern again. Picked up Dragon’s Kin two weeks ago and worked my way through the stack of other books to read, and went out and picked up Dragon’s Fire and Dragon Harper last night. Having finished the last one an hour ago I have two things to say.

First up, it feels good coming back to Pern. I was slightly disappointed in some of the last books your Mother had written (they were good.. but just didn’t have that same feel as DragonSong/Singer (out of order I know, but Singer was my first Pern book, if I could time it I would go and .. appropriate .. the copy from my High School Library)/Drums Flight/Quest/White Dragon)

Second.. I sure hope you treat Kindan a little better in the next book.

If this email doesn’t exactly make much sense, sorry.. like I said I started Dragon’s Fire at 9pm and finished up Dragon Harper at 6am. Hope nothing silly happens at work today.

I edited your letter a bit so as not to possibly spoil Dragon Harper for others, I hope you don’t mind.

As for Kindan, when you read Dragonsblood, you’ll be able to judge whether he gets treated better.
