First let me explain that I am a great silent fan of you Mother, and now yourself. I first started reading her books from the local library, then decided to purchase them as I could. This is the Pern series, i’m talking about. Now I have the complete collection and await eagerly for the next ones. I once told your mother in an email that I had read each of the books I have approximately 10 times. This count has increased now.

I am hoping to finally meet her if I can get to Dragon*Con this year. I also have to explain that I just turned 60 last October, but just reading her/your Pern stories, takes me to another time and place, which at this age, I sometimes would rather be. I was wondering if you could tell me, if you and Anne will be doing any other book signings or gatherings, along the Eastern part of the US while she is Here? I live in the northwestern part of Massachusetts. I have dreamed for some years now of being able to meet Anne in person and be able to tell her how much her writings have triggered my own imagination. I would have emailed this question directly to her, but I was not able to find her email address on her site.
