I’m reading Liaquat Ahamed’s Pulitzer-Prize winning “Lords of Finance” which is about the bankers who brought about the Great Depression.
It covers a broad span of time, starting before WWI and moving through to the Depression itself.
There’s a lot of interesting stuff here.
