My condolences to you and your family for the loss of your mother. I am also a huge fan of Anne’s and your works. The story of Pern is absolutely riveting. Besides collecting the Pern series I also have the Rowan series.

I liked the the depiction of the dragons on your cover art so much that I had them painted on the tank of my motorcycle, a green on one side and a gold on the other. I would like to send you pictures sometime if possible.
