Dear Todd.
I’m at present on a train between Stockholm (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark).
I just bought ‘Dragonwriter’ yesterday (Stockholm has an amazing SF bookstore), am halfway through (would have gotten further, but X-mas shopping was the actual point of my trip), and had to stop so I could write and say THANK YOU for collecting these lovely testamonies. I have loved your mother’s writing for the past 20 years or so, and I find myself falling in love with the person behind the wonderful stories. She (along with Karen Blixen/Isaak Dinesen, J.R.R. Tolkien, and C.S. Lewis) is a writer I wish I’d had a chance to meet in person – although I love meeting her in her books.
Will now go back to reading this lovely book.

I’m glad you’re enjoying Dragonwriter. It was a pleasure to create but I feel compelled to say that its existence owes much to the marvelous Smartpop Boooks people. It was they who first suggested it.
