Purple/Blue screen of nothingness

Several people have written saying that they can’t see Mum’s website (www.annemccaffrey.net).

We’ve investigated and the problem seems to be only with Internet Explorer and perhaps only with version 7 (version 8 works just fine).

Mum’s webmistress is looking to see whether upgrading Mum’s website might fix the problem.

I might also suggest that people consider using Firefox (available at mozilla.com) or Opera (available at www.opera.com) or even Safari (from Apple).

Opera and Firefox, being less used than Internet Explorer, have the added advantage of being less frequently hacked.

In the meantime, please be assured that Mum’s webmistress is aware of the problem and working diligently to fix it.
