We have to wait until July for Dragongirl??? Why the delay? I am dying to see if Xhinna gets her green. I’ve been reading the books in the Pern series for more years than I care to admit, and I have enjoyed every one. I can’t wait for the next book.
Some of the riders don’t seem to be as upset as I would expect though when their dragons got sick. When my horse got really sick with EPM I was a total wreck, and she’s a horse – with a dragon this has to be about a thousand times worse. I can’t imagine what a dragonrider would go through.

There are a number of reasons for the delay but my understanding is that the biggest one is the Recession.
As for your other comment – read Dragongirl.

I just finished Dragongirl and I am super excited to start Dragon’s Time. I was so happy when you started writing with your mom as well as on your own in the Pern world. I grew up with these books and look forward to every one of them. I get very attached to these characters!
