Hi Todd,

I just read on your site, that your mom will be at Dragon*Con this fall. I’ve tried every possible link to get more info on this, as well as typing it in directly, and I get nowhere. Can you send me more info on this or else a site that I can go to to look at it for myself. I’d really like to meet your mom. Like many others, she is MY favorite author.

Thanks in advance for any help you can send my way,
Michele

P.S. I am looking forward to reading Dragonsblood also. I just finished Dragon’s Kin, and really enjoyed it. Thanks again.

Hi Michele,

You should try dragoncon.com. (Hmm, I just checked and it looks like the site is down for some reason — I suggest you try again later.)

You can usually follow the links from my Upcoming Events and Appearances.

I’m glad you liked Dragon’s Kin! I’m finishing off my revisions to Dragonsblood this week.

Cheers,
Todd

Hi Todd,

In Kindan’s day and age are all of the current (9th Pass era) Weyrs and Major Holds operational on the Northern Continent? I know that Anne’s books tell us that the Southern Continent is long abandoned by Kindan’s time, so naturally there is no Southern Hold or Weyr to speak of. Primarily, my question is motivated by the map provided in my copy of “Dragons Kin.” Is there any chance that there will be an accurate map of 3rd Pass Pern in “Dragonsblood?”

In any case, keep up the good work! I look forward to pre-ordering “Dragonsblood” next winter.

With Regards,
Chad

Hi Chad

I don’t know. I’ll have to think about that.

Cheers,
Todd

Hey, I like the photo. I hope you use it or something like it on the dust jacket of Dragonsblood.

Hi Mark!

I’ve already sent the photo on to my publishers. I haven’t heard back whether they can use it or not.

Cheers,
Todd

Dear Todd
Are there any plans for your books to be marketed in New Zealand? I tried to get Dragonholder through my local public library and when that failed I went shopping for it when I was in Auckland. At least the library had your name on their computer system!

Thank you
June

Dear June,

I believe that Transworld has the rights to Dragon’s Kin and Dragonsblood. I’ll have to check and see why Dragonholder isn’t on sale in New Zealand.

Cheers,
Todd
