Hi Todd (hope I’m not being presumptious)

Enjoyed Dragon’s Kin and looking forward (impatiently tapping fingers on keyboard) to the publication of Dragonsblood and hopefully getting to attend Dragon*Con 2004 (was there in 1999 and wistfully wear my DRoP Television Series T-shirt I got there). Any chance of DRoP being picked up by Peter Jackson (et al) after such a great (& true to the books) job with LoTR trilogy?

No, you’re not being too presumptuous!

As for a film based on Dragonflight or any of the Dragonriders of Pern series, we live in hope. Peter Jackson makes his own choices — we haven’t heard peep from him, nor Steven Spielberg, nor George Lucas, nor James Cameron, not even Robert Rodriguez nor Jonathan Frakes. But maybe one of them will have a friend who’s read the book and gets them interested — then it’s a “whole new ballgame”.
