Letter from Shaggy

Letter from Shaggy

I would like to thank you and your mom for producing another masterpiece in DRAGONS KIN. Having read all of Ann’s work in the PERN series and most of her other works, I am looking forward to many more of your collaborations in the future and reading some of your own original works too.

I have introduced my daughter to this wonderful world of dragons also, she is facinated by the descriptions of the world in which it is set. Amy is only 10 years old, the books have helped her with her reading and given her a flair for more creative writing in school.

Once again I thank you both for such wonderful stories.

SHAGGY

Hi Shaggy,

I’m thrilled to hear that you and your daughter liked “Dragon’s Kin.”

Mum and I are hoping to follow Kindan, Nuella, Zenor, and even Cristov as they grow older.

My book, Dragonsblood, is set fourteen Turns after the end of “Dragon’s Kin” when Kindan is twenty-six Turns old. It will be coming out at the beginning of January next year.

I hope your daughter finds reading as enjoyable as my daughter does (mine’s already started writing stories, so there’s a chance of a third generation of McCaffrey).

Cheers,
Todd

We need more writers like you and your Mother. Keep up the good works!

Hi Robin!

I’m glad you liked “Dragon’s Kin”. Your kind words are very encouraging.

Mum and I are eager to get to work on the next two follow-ons to “Dragon’s Kin”.

The more adult “Dragonsblood” should be out January next year (sigh).

Cheers,
Todd
