I first read Dragonflight when I was stationed in England in 1980. Since then I have read all of the PERN novels written by you and of course your mom. I finished your latest book “Dragon Harper” yesterday, and I have to tell you that I greatly enjoyed it.

I was wondering if you had ever thought of writing a PERN novel that dealt with a time after F’lar and Lessa? It would be interesting to see what has happened on PERN a couple of hundred turns after the Red Sun was knocked out of it’s orbit.

I just wanted to let you know that Dragon Harper is wonderful. I didn’t get to pick it up until about 5 pm today because I was nowhere near a Barnes & Noble yesterday.

I don’t really remember eating while I was reading, though I do remember moving the kitten so I wouldn’t drop food on him (spaghetti sauce stains white fur so badly), but I couldn’t tell you if my dinner tasted good or not because I was so into reading.

Now to sleep and let my mind dwell on what I’ve read before re-reading.
