First, try not to get it. This involves packing and drinking lots of “Emergen-C” (Airborne doesn’t work as well). I recommend Emergen-C for any time when you’re in a high-stress, high-demand situation. The stuff works wonders.
Foolish me, however, I forgot to pack and didn’t find any at the con.
If you get con crud, this is what works for me:
- Lots of Rest
- Lots of Emergen-C
- Lots of Water
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Vicks Vapor Rub on your chest
- NEVER drink hot or cold liquids, stick with room temperature if possible, otherwise go with warm or cool
- I’ve also had luck with small amounts of colloidal silver on the reasoning that bacteria are less likely to like it than my cells.
