K. D. Wentworth

K. D. Wentworth was, among many other things, first reader and editor of the L. Ron Hubbard Presents The Writers of the Future, having been a winner herself early on.

She succumbed to pneumonia acquired during her fight against cervical cancer on April 18th, just three days after The Writers and Illustrators of the Future Award ceremony.

She will be sorely missed.
